The ensemble, directed by Sowah Mensah,
is a 40-member group that performs
traditional African music, mostly from
Ghana. In addition to our main
performances, we also tour the U.S,
and play shows for schools.

Spotlight
After 23 years, the Ensemble performed its final concert in the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center at Macalester College. Many students left their dorms and trudged through 20 inches of snow to see the concert. We had a blast! Upcoming concerts will be held in Kagin Commons.
